America’s Watchdog, and advocacy group that looks out for consumers, has made good on a promise to help asbestos victims. The group unveiled this week a website with information and contacts for those affected by asbestos exposure.
America’s Watchdog has made a name for itself as a group that wants to provide nothing more than help to the American public. Going after fraud, predatory lending, ignorance and unhelpful companies, the Watchdog promised to make a special effort to help victims of asbestos exposure. This week, the group made good as it unveiled a website specifically geared towards mesothelioma sufferers and any other person afflicted with an asbestos related disease.
The site offers general knowledge about the diseases, step-by-step assistance in finding a healthcare provider and support groups for those suffering. Lawyers, group litigations and checklists are also available on the website. Though the cases of mesothelioma are on the rise, and are gaining more public interest, those suffering often time feel there is little free help or information for them. The Watchdog is hoping that the new site will provide help and relief to asbestos victims, as well as addressing issues that are often times unexplained when a victim seeks help.
