It has been reported that a military police officer has been called for by counsel members to be reprimanded after a disabled woman was ordered to remove asbestos from her own home by herself.

The Military police officer is currently being accused of gross negligence for asking the arthritis sufferer to herself attempt to abate the asbestos in her home.

The disabled woman (age 57), of Honey Bourne road in Sheldon, was admitted to the hospital for extreme lung infections and digestive problems. Concern over her asbestos exposure stems from medical evidence that clearly shows a nexus as between asbestos exposure and the development of asbestos related conditions. Asbestos has been blamed for causing thousands of deaths for Americans and citizens of countries from around the world.

Asbestos has been known to cause asbestosis, lung cancer and mesothelioma. Attempting to remove asbestos from ones home without the proper protective gear can be life threatening.
